Interview Q&A
How long have you been in business?
Since September 2010
What is your primary product or service?
Deep Tissue, Swedish Massage
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I was in school going for my Bachelor's in Science in Wellness Management. There was not many degrees available that interested me. I have always thought of Massage. Everyone has always told me that I give good back massages. So I research it more and found it more interesting, so I figured why not try and see how I like it in school.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Each massage is totally different. I take each client and mold a massage for their needs that day. No massage is ever the same, even for the same person. I work with a lot of specific injuries people have. I work the area, but I also try to relax the whole body at the same time.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
I only have one location. I will see what the future will bring me.
Provide detailed directions to your location
I am located in the Clock Tower plaza in Rapid City, on the west side of town. If you are coming from down town Rapid City, you go up West Main Street. You come to the light at West Main and Sheridan Lake Rd. You take a left at the light onto Sheridan Lake Rd. Take the first left into the clock tower plaza, go straight back and my office door faces the Clock Tower Garden apartments. It is then Suite 303
What type of payments do you accept?
I take: Cash, Check, Credit (American Express, Visa, Master Card, Discover)
Which areas do you service?
I service anyone looking for a massage, any age range.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Myself Sarah, owns the company and runs all the operations of the place.
What are your hours of operation?
Right now I am by Appointment only. I try to work with your schedule and mine to get you in. I work days, a few nights, and a couple Saturdays per month.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
That I molded my massage based on the needs of the clients. They said it was the best massage they had ever had. They didn't realize that the area they had pain in was due to a different part in their body.
